"TOO SMALL"

The aviator glasses were too small. I suggest they be advertised for children, women or small framed men!

"Be careful with the size"

There is no choice of size in NG website, and there is no mention during my purchase what size NG is going to send me. The overcome is the glasses I received is too small for my head. I noticed from the manufacturer's website that they did offer 3 different sizes to suit different head size. The bigger one should fit me better. The worse thing is that NG team is not able to get me the answer until now regarding the size of the glasses that I received. Unacceptable service.

"Absolutely top quality!"

My husband is thrilled. These glasses are distortion-free., He can wear them indoors, i.e. shopping, etc. No wonder they came with such high references.

"A lifesaver!!"

i purchased them for my husband, who has really been feeling the effects of macular degeneration. . light sensitivity, etc. He uses them all the time and they are comfortable for him and really help with the glare. He brags about them to everyone he sees.

"EXCELLENT"

My Dad served in the air force and his air force glasses were the only sunglasses he would ever wear. He lost them a few years ago and when I saw these I know he had to have them!! He was so happy when he opened them and couldn't believe I had found them. They are excellent quality and craftsmanship, I am very very pleased, and my Dad was ecstatic. Perfect!

"Authentic military HGU4/P aviators"

Lens size is 52mm, the small men's frame. 52mm is the most popular size. This is the military design, HGU4/P (sometimes called, Helmet Goggle Use for Pilots)which has been around since 1958 when the new rigid, hard flying helmets required a frame that would fit easily within a helmet and headphones etc, thus the bayonet temples which slide easily on and off. The size is stamped underneath nose bridge, e.g. 55[]20 (55mm lens width and 20mm nose bridge width). I checked with the Nat Geo staff and they were helpful enough to go back and pull out a pair and look underneath the nose bridge. They confirmed that this is the 52mm lens. The information in the details section is a bit confusing as to frame size ('' 5 1/2''W x 1 3/4''H). ''5 1/2'' is stamped on the inside of the right temple and merely refers to the length of the temple. All HGU4/P frames have 5 1/2'' temples.
