I love the feel this work of art contributes to my living room. I dont light a candle on it as I worry it would fall, but the piece is beautiful without it.
Sopstone owl pair a wise purchase choice :)
I love this pair of Sopstone oil burners! Packaging from India was amazing- no way that these little guys were going to break in transit. Natural color variation in each of the owls is awesome (beautiful patterns), and the Jali carving is top-notch. The base of each owl glows with candlelight- just as shown in the photo. Oil basins work perfectly for heating aromatics. The soapstone gets quite hot, so be careful while the owls are in use (be sure to position them on a heat-safe surface while burning). Also, be sure to keep an eye on the volume of fluid remaining in the oil basins if you burn over an extended period of time (if burning essential oils in water, the water can evaporate quickly). Awesome. I love everything about them. Would absolutely purchase a second time and recommend to friends. I own several items by this same artist, and plan on purchasing future works from him as well.

Celadon ceramic candleholder, "Blue Bouquet"$269.99
Blue celadon ceramic takes the shape of a lotus bud, the tapered shape richly carved using the technique. Kanda crafts a graceful covered candleholder with filigree cutouts. Made of or wood ashes enriched with oxides, the glazes distinguish these traditional Thai ceramics. When the kiln is opened, the change of temperature causes the piece to contract, giving it the distinctive crackled appearance of true celadon.

Using time-honored techniques passed down from his father and grandfather, Peruvian master ceramist Mamerto Sanchez creates this beautiful candleholder. Inspired by the culture of the region, it features the figures of six traditionally-dressed Andean women in a circle.
Hand-carved Wood Tealight Candleholders (pair), "Light of Yin Yang"$25.99
The soft glow of tealights in Yin and Yang candleholders shed light on the interconnectedness between positive and negative energies. Carved of mango wood in contrasting shades, the candleholders are crafted by Thailand's Saifon. Two tealights are included.
