Featured Reviews on Wool Runner Rugs
I am blown away by the quality of this rug. I would actually feel so bad even stepping on it so I am debating on buying a quilt/rug hanger to make this a wall hanging instead.
I love the vibrant colours of this beautiful new rug. I have already received compliments on it, love the feel of the wool under my feet, and am so happy I purchased it. Thank you Gregorio Ruiz for creating such a vibrant original piece! It helps warm up a Canadian winter!
“Every great story has a humble beginning, this one is no different; before you take your second step, you must take your first.”

Golden diamonds dance delightfully across a fiery red background. Gracing a handloomed rug, the intricate motifs allude to ancient Zapotec motifs. Alberto Ruiz and his wife weave a beautiful Zapotec rug of soft virgin wool. They name the design "Cuatro Diamantes" in Spanish.

Handwoven Jute Dhurrie Runner with Herbal Dyes (2.5 x 8), "India Majesty"$139.99
Woven on a traditional loom with a wool warp, this jute runner rug displays a colorful geometrical fantasy. Sonik Sethi presents this rug where natural herb colors bring to life a variety of tightly-woven patterns in beige, black, mustard, green and coral rust.
Handmade Zapotec Star Motif Area Rug (2.5x6.5), "Guelaguetza Dance"
Dancing diamonds in joyous colors capture the spirit of Oaxaca's dance. A Zapotec word meaning "offering," it was originally applied to the harvest celebrations. Gregorio Ruiz weaves a bold and beautiful rug in the traditional Zapotec style.
Titled "Guelaguetza" in the Zapotec language.
Because each rug is individually woven on handlooms, measurements could vary +/- 2 inches (5 cm) (2 in).
Hand Loomed Wool Area Rug (2x8), "Fiery Hills"$299.99
Fiery hills arise from deep green meadows in a beautifully stylized design. By David Laura Zanabria, this handwoven accent rug takes its influence from the Wari culture. Its precise geometry and brilliant color make it a focal point in any setting.
