This is weaving of a wonderful quality; regular, tight and even. I am not an expert, but I collect Navajo weavings and I think I know fine weaving when I see it. Gregorios weaving has, as I say, a wonderful finesse. The design is simple and pleasingly elegant, with bold diamonds separated by bands of vibrant colour, all on a lovely, neutral ground. It is now the focal point of a just decorated first floor landing.Should I require a similar rug, I would be very happy to go back to Gregorio. Quality always shows. Senor Ruiz has it in abundance.
Absolutely Lovely rug
I received the rug earlier than expected and was amazed at the quality and craftsmanship. The colors are vibrant and much more beautiful than the pictures can show. Thank you so much Sajad for creating such a beautiful and well made piece of art. I love it.
So well made and beautiful!
This is my second rug. I am buying a second as I love the first so much! My living room is turquoise and white. These rugs are perfect for my hallway!

Popular Blue Area Rugs
Geometric Wool Area Rug (2x3), "Desert Diamond"$107.99
Radiant desert colors center this handloomed rug with a dazzling diamond. With stripes and fretwork along each end, the motifs express centuries of Zapotec tradition. Gregorio Ruiz weaves the piece by hand from soft virgin wool.
Because each rug is individually woven on handlooms, measurements could vary +/- 2 inches (5 cm).
Artisan Crafted Sky Blue Zapotec 100% Wool Rug from Oaxaca, "Blue Oaxaca Skies"$327.99
Blue skies over Oaxaca enthrall and captivate, inspiring this beautiful rug by Alfredo Ruiz. He uses natural dyes to obtain shades of royal blue, pastel blue, midnight blue and sea green. Once the wool yarn is ready, he works on the pedal loom weaving the legendary glyphs of the Zapotec people to create this eye-catching rug.
Mexican Zapotec Blue Wool Area Rug (4x6.5), "Warrior Life"$429.99
Irene Ruiz designs a spectacular rug to honor the brave lives of Zapotec warriors. Zigzag glyphs exude a sense of energy while the step-like patterns symbolize the journey between life, underworld and heaven. Ruiz prepares colors from natural dyes and weaves the wool rug on a traditional loom.
Handwoven Bird Theme Peruvian Blue Wool Rug (2x5), "Blue Birds on the Wing"$197.99
A celebration of nature, this glorious accent rug depicts birds in a clear blue sky. Master weaver Eliazar Ochoa transforms virgin wool into a splendid example of Andean textile art.
